Upgrading the DO-GRIP Parting System
ISCAR has upgraded the DO-GRIP double-ended
DGN/R/L inserts for parting, with an improved
clamping system (patent pending), which features a
stronger clamping method.
New DO-GRIPIQ Pocket Advantages

DO-GRIP system
The current tools and inserts will be replaced
by two main types:
DO-GRIP-IQ 550 STRAIGHT Line
2 mm double-ended inserts with neutral, right- and
left-hand frontal edge and
C- and J-type chipformers.
The new inserts are 5 mm longer than the current
inserts, thus enable grooving deeper and parting
larger - up to 48 mm diameter.
DO-GRIP-IQ 550 TWISTED Line
3 to 6 mm double-ended and twisted inserts with
neutral, right- and left-hand frontal edge and C- and
J-type chipformers. Like the current DO-GRIP
inserts, grooving and parting depth depends on the
tools being used. Due to their twisted configuration,
the rear side of the insert can enter into the groove
produced by the frontal side of the insert.
