    A revolutionary patented cooling unit for HPC applied to the standard ISO Turn line. This new coolant unit has important advantages over the competitors:
    • One type of coolant unit for several different insert shapes.
    • Easy to use. No need to remove when changing an insert – just push the coolant nozzle – no loss of screws.
    • Special design brings the coolant very close to the edge in the most effective way.
    • Optimal design of the cooling unit jet. Maximum efficiency is obtained when used on a machine with high pressure options.
    • The coolant unit can be adjusted for different depths of cut.
    • Additional coolant comes from below to keep the insert edge cool.


    ISCAR’s HELITURN system features a unique, double-sided insert with 4 cutting edges for Fast Metal Removal (FMR) turning.
    HELITURN is a tangentially clamped insert with a unique helical shaped cutting edge, useful for large depths of cut and higher than normal feeds. The short distance between the cooling outlet to the cutting edge ensures an effective stream directed to the cutting edge.


    Unique and patented coolant outlet design, using a sliding pipe with the following advantages:
